Online - 2026 Epic POWER Hour - Make the EHR Work for You: Customized Layouts, Order Preference Lists & AI Help That Sticks
Epic POWER Hours are designed to help providers discover ways to save time, decrease clicks, and reduce cognitive load while using the Epic EHR to provide patient care. This session shows providers how to combine the EHR voice assistant with high value personalization. Build preference lists and order panels that reflect your most common needs, streamline your navigator and workspace layout so the right data is always where you expect it, and retool patient previews/summary reports to surface the signals that matter.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Examine opportunities to modify system configurations and workflows to improve efficiency when providing patient care.
- Describe how Epic’s voice assistant can support navigating the EHR more quickly.
- Describe how personalization features such as preview reports, order preference lists, and speed buttons can improve efficiency in the EHR.
- Summarize available Nemours-led and Epic-led resources to improve individual proficiency with the Epic EHR.
