This first session introduces foundational concepts of inclusion, belonging, and engagement. Through guided discussion, participants explore how different leadership approaches shape team culture and influence daily work experiences. The focus is on increasing leaders’ awareness of how their own behaviors impact team cohesion, inclusion, and overall team well‑being.

Target Audience

Physicians, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Pharmacists, Physician Associates, Psychologists, Social Workers, Dentists, Athletic Trainers and other interested in this content. 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:

  • Define different leadership approaches and their impact on inclusion and belonging
  • Describe tools and insights to drive inclusion and engagement across their teams and departments
  • Identify opportunities in their daily work to promote and engage in inclusion
