Shannon Chan, PharmD

Shannon joined Nemours Children Hospital, Delaware in 2003 as the Pediatric Infectious Disease Clinical Pharmacist Specialist. She implemented the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at NCH-DE in collaboration with the Infectious Diseases Division. She served as the Co-director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program from 2004 to 2022

In 2023, Shannon transitioned to her current position as the Director of Pharmacy Clinical Operations at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware.

Shannon’s primary clinical and research interest is antimicrobial stewardship interventional studies focusing on clinical outcomes pertaining to improvement of patient outcomes and emergence of resistance.
