I am an ambitious clinical researcher driven to build a strong scientific foundation for interventions used in neonatal care. My background in nursing enables me to identify knowledge gaps, challenges in clinical practice, and clinically relevant research questions. My experience with animal experimentation allows me to investigate underlying physiology in depth, while my translational expertise enables me to bridge the gap between experimental findings and clinical research, translating physiological hypotheses into meaningful clinical studies.

I have established a large international network of researchers across 19 European countries through the NEU-STIM study investigating repeated tactile stimulation during stabilisation at birth. This network now serves as a platform for studying other delivery room interventions and continues to expand, creating new opportunities for international collaboration and multicentre research.
