Ra'Niesha Bratton, MPH, CHES, is a public health professional, Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), nationally recognized family leader, and founder of Bratton Consulting, LLC, where she partners with organizations to advance health equity, patient and family engagement, community partnerships, and strategic initiatives that improve maternal and infant health outcomes. With more than a decade of experience in public health, she has led and supported initiatives focused on health education, quality improvement, systems change, and community-centered care.

She serves as a Board Member of the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC) Family Advisory Council, where she collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, researchers, and policy leaders to integrate the family perspective into neonatal quality improvement efforts across California. Her work focuses on strengthening partnerships between families and healthcare providers, advancing trauma-informed care, and promoting equitable outcomes for mothers, infants, and historically underserved communities.

As the mother of a NICU graduate, Ra'Niesha brings a unique perspective that bridges lived experience with professional expertise. She is passionate about transforming personal experience into meaningful systems change and advocates for care models that recognize families as essential partners in improving neonatal outcomes. Through speaking, education, and collaborative leadership, she empowers healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, evidence-informed care that values both clinical excellence and the voices of the families they serve.

Ra'Niesha has been invited to serve as faculty and speaker at the 2026 Hot Topics in Neonatology® Conference, where she will present during the session, "Every Poke Matters: Pain, the Developing Brain, and NICU Care," sharing the family perspective on neonatal pain management and the lasting impact of compassionate, family-centered care.

Through her leadership, advocacy, and consulting, She continues to influence healthcare systems, clinicians, and community organizations by championing family-centered practices that improve experiences and outcomes for infants and families nationwide.
