Lori Devlin, DO, MHA, MS

Dr. Devlin is a practicing neonatologist with Norton Children’s Neonatology and a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She is actively involved in development, implementation, and conduct of multicenter clinical studies in the area of Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome (NOWS) through the NIH HEAL supported Advancing Clinical Trials in Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal (ACT NOW) Program. Dr. Devlin has served as a lead study investigator for the Eating, Sleeping, Consoling for Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal (ESC-NOW) Trial, the Optimizing Pharmacologic Treatment for Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome (OPTimize NOW): A Symptom-Based Dosing Approach Trial and the TreaT NOW: Target Trial Emulation for Pharmacologic Treatment of Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome Study.
She is PI for the NIH HEAL Evaluation of Limited Pharmacotherapies for Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome (HELP for NOWS) collaborative and an mPI for the NIH ECHO IDeA States Pediatrics Clinical Trial Network (ISPCTN) where she also serves on the Leadership Committee and as a co-chair for the Pre-Peri- and Postnatal Working Group.
In addition, Dr. Devlin is the Director of Research Development for the Norton Children’s Research Institute and Chief of the Pediatric Division of Clinical and Translational Research at the University of Louisville.
