Dr. Schmölzer is a clinician-scientist with a focus on neonatal, infant, and pediatric resuscitation research. He is the Director or CSAR (Centre for the Studies of Asphyxia and Resuscitation) at the University of Alberta, the founder and director of NeoCAN - Neonatal Outcomes & Accelerating Clinical Trials Network of Canada and a neonatologist within the Northern Albertan Neonatal Program, providing care to critically ill newborns.
