Denise DiPrimio Kalman, DO, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.   

Dr. Kalman graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Kalman was employed in private practice for nearly 20 years.  She has been an attending physician since 2017 in the Division of Allergy and Immunology at Nemours Children’s Health in Wilmington, Delaware.  Although semi-retired, she continues to provide part-time direct patient care and serves as a clinical educator.

Dr. Kalman has served as President of Philadelphia Allergy Society; President of Pennsylvania Allergy and Asthma Association; Member of the Specialty Leadership Cabinet of the Pennsylvania Medical Society; Chair of the Regional, State and Local Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Societies; and member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Board of Directors.

Dr. Kalman currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI).
