Dr. Selekman is a national expert in School Nursing. She wrote the primary textbook for School Nurses and speaks throughout the country on a wide range of topics related to child health. She has taught for over 50 years, including being Chair of the Department of Nursing at the University of Delaware. She has a BSN from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters of Nursing (Pediatrics) and Doctorate in Nursing Science from the University of Pennsylvania. She is nationally certified as a School Nurse and is a Fellow in the National Academy of School Nurses.
