Nicole E. Jordan, DNP, APRN, CPNP, IBCLC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner with nearly two decades of experience spanning inpatient, outpatient, newborn, and complex care settings. She currently serves with Nemours Children’s Health in Advanced Care at Home, providing virtual and inpatient consultative care for medically complex pediatric patients while supporting transitions from hospital to home to reduce emergency department visits and rehospitalizations.

Dr. Jordan earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Central Florida and has held advanced practice roles across neonatal, pediatric hospitalist, primary care, oncology survivorship, and leadership settings. She previously served as Supervisor of Advanced Practice Providers at Orlando Health Medical Group, where she supported clinical teams through mentorship, professional development, and quality-focused initiatives. Her clinical interests include newborn care, lactation support, neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome management, and care coordination for medically complex children.

A committed advocate for evidence-based practice, Dr. Jordan has led and contributed to multiple quality improvement and scholarly initiatives, including implementation of the Eat, Sleep, Console model for newborns, safe sleep initiatives, and parent-focused education strategies. She is actively involved in mentorship, professional education, and community service, including church-based ministry and youth mentoring.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Jordan’s faith and family are central to her life. She enjoys traveling, exploring real estate opportunities, and finding meaningful ways to invest in both communities and people.
