Dr. Coffee is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He is the Co-Director of the FIRE course and Director of the FIRE+ Program. He is a nationally recognized leader in collaborative and team science and research navigator with a focus on research mentoring as it relates to expanding and catalyzing clinical and translational research. Dr. Coffee's expertise and activities include NIH grant writing skills and best practices, NIH grant study section peer review procedures/policies, grant review workshops, and clinical research methodology. He works with faculty, fellows, residents, graduate students, and medical students.
