After growing up in rural Oklahoma, he completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Virginia, where he served as Chief Fellow. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College and an attending cardiologist at the Jefferson Heart Institute. He is board certified in cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology, with a clinical focus on cardiovascular prevention and lipid management.
