Professor Roslyn Boyd is a Professor of Cerebral Palsy Research at the Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre in the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Science at the University of Queensland, Brisbane Australia. Prof Boyd co-leads a National Clinical Centre of Research Excellence The Australian Cerebral Palsy Health Network and the Australasian Cerebral Palsy Musculo Skeletal Health Network.  From 1990-1996 she worked as a Senior Research Physiotherapist at Great Ormond Street Hospital (with J Fixsen, T Catterall) and at Guys and St Thomas's on the SE Thames Hip surveillance study (D Scrutton). From 1997- 2007 she worked as Senior Research Physiotherapist at the Royal Children's Hospital co-ordinating the Hip Displacement RCT, Botulinum Tox A clinical trials, set up a National Hip Surveillance network and worked in the Hugh Williamson Gait Laboratory.  Since 2007 at the University of QLD Prof Boyd has conducted > 17 RCTs in Cerebral Palsy and now leads a national CP Synergy Program of very early biomarkers of CP towards precision interventions.
