Uri Givon, MD

Dr. Uri Givon was an attending pediatric orthopedic surgeon at the Safra Hospital for Children, and is the director of the motion analysis laboratory at the Sheba Medical Center in Israel. His clinical work and research focused on neuro-orthopedics, cerebral palsy, Rett syndromes and multiple sclerosis.
He received his MD from the School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, finished an orthopedic residency at the Sheba Medical Center and a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at the A. I. DuPont Hospital for Children, Wilmington DE. He is an emeritus associate professor of orthopedics at the Grey Faculty for Medicine, Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Givon has been active in the AACPDM since 2000 as a presenter and committee member, committee chair, a director at Large between the years 2011-2012 and secretary of the AACPDM between the years 2016-2019. He is a member of the Eastern European and Mediterranean Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine Group (EEMCPDM) and was active in the meetings held in Turkey, Greece, Poland, Israel, Russia and Armenia. He is an active member of the European Pediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS), The Israeli Pediatric Orthopedic Society and the Israeli Orthopedic Association.
