Katherine Steward, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, IBCLC is an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical expertise in pediatric primary care. She currently practices in Gastroenterology at Nemours Children's Health and holds a courtesy faculty appointment with the University of Florida College of Nursing. Katherine is certified as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and as an International Bord Certified Lactation Consultant, with specialized expertise in family- centered care, lactation support, and developmental assessment. 

She has completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Florida, where her work focused on quality improvement and evidence-based practice, including a DNP project aimed at increasing Nirsevimab uptake in outpatient pediatrics. As a dedicated clinical preceptor, Katherine has mentored nurse practitioner and doctoral students for nearly a decade, contributing more than 1,900 hours of clinical education. Her professional interests include quality improvement, provider education, and advancing best practices to improve pediatric patient outcomes.
