Dr. Meena Ramakrishnan is a board-certified preventive medicine physician with a background in pediatrics who has over 16 years of experience working as an independent consultant to inform public health initiatives serving women, children and families.  Maternal child health and vaccines are two areas of expertise in which she has done extensive research, writing, program evaluation and policy analysis.  Her work has contributed to the creation of a statewide review of maternal, fetal and infant deaths in Delaware, has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Lancet Infectious Diseases and Vaccine, and has informed global advisory boards such as the WHO’s Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization.
