Dr. Mark Twite is the Division Chief of Cardiac Anesthesia and Co-Director of the Cardiac Center at Nemours Children's Health, Delaware Valley. Dr. Twite went to medical school at the University of Cambridge, England and completed his pediatric training in the United Kingdom. Dr. Twite then completed training in pediatric critical care medicine, anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesia and congenital cardiac anesthesia at the University of Colorado. In 2006 he joined the Division of Pediatric Anesthesia at the Children's Hospital of Colorado as faculty and later became the Director of Cardiac Anesthesia. Dr. Twite started his new position at Nemours in 2025. Dr. Twite's clinical and academic interests are focused on congenital cardiac anesthesiology, and he has 85 peer reviewed publications. He is a past President of the Congenital Cardiac Anesthesia Society.
