I am a registered nurse with 33 years of experience, beginning my career in 1990 as a medical-surgical nurse in New York before transitioning to the operating room in 1998, where I gained expertise in scrubbing and circulating across all specialties and later became an OR nurse educator responsible for competencies, curriculum development, policy revision, and regulatory compliance. After relocating to Orlando in 2007, I served as a staff nurse and later assistant nurse manager for Neurosurgery, Spine, and Ophthalmology, leading initiatives to improve OR operations, reduce costs, mentor staff, and support equipment and supply management.
