Andrea Mancinelli

Andrea Mancinelli, DO, is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware, where she also serves as Director of Point‑of‑Care Ultrasound (POCUS) within the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Mancinelli specializes in the acute evaluation and management of infants, children, and adolescents and is recognized for her expertise in pediatric point‑of‑care ultrasound, high‑acuity clinical care, and medical education.
Dr. Mancinelli completed her pediatric residency at the University of Miami/Holtz Children’s Hospital, followed by a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship and an Emergency Ultrasound fellowship at NewYork‑Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Her academic interests center on the advancement of pediatric ultrasound applications, fellow, resident and medical student education, and the development of innovative, evidence‑based diagnostic approaches in the emergency setting. She also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Thomas Jefferson University.
