Andrea Ali-Panzarella, DO, MPH, FAAP, FACOP

Dr. Andrea Ali-Panzarella completed her medical training at Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida, and simultaneously completed a Master of Public Health degree. She continued her training with an osteopathic internship at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, followed by a pediatrics residency at NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island in Mineola, NY. She served as chief resident in pediatrics for an additional year. After practicing general pediatrics on Long Island for two years, Dr. Ali-Panzarella completed a fellowship in Child Abuse Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA and became board-certified in the field in 2017. In 2019, she joined Nemours Children's Health to treat children via urgent care telemedicine and to serve as a member of the Nemours Children’s child abuse task force. She will now establish the Division of Child Advocacy in the Department of Pediatrics.
Dr. Ali-Panzarella is on the editorial board for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Pediatrics Review and Education Program (PREP) Self-Assessment and is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (ACOP) Board of Trustees. Also an author, in March 2025, Dr. Ali-Panzarella published the book “Every Family is a Tree,” which illustrates the many ways families are made and offers children a sense of pride in their unique family stories while fostering empathy and acceptance of others.
