Dr. Mindy Dickerman, MD, FAAP, FAAHPM, currently practices at Nemours Children's Hospital, NCH, in Delaware as a pediatric critical care physician and pediatric palliative care physician. She has served as the division chief for hospice and palliative medicine since June 2025. She is the current chair of the Society for Critical Care Medicine's (SCCM's) Pediatric Palliative Care Sub-Committee. She is a national Senior Vital Talk Faculty Member and is trained to teach the Interprofessional Spiritual Education Curriculum (ISPEC), currently leading these programs for clinicians at her intuition, regionally, and nationally. She has developed and implemented curriculum and standardized processes to incorporate palliative care in the pediatric intensive care unit, specifically surrounding communicating with families and end of life care.
