Chelsea Torres, PhD is a pediatric psychologist at Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida in Orlando. She joined the staff of Nemours Children’s in September 2025 after having completed her Pediatric Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship with Nemours Children’s. She previously earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology at DePaul University in Chicago, and her Master of Arts (with Distinction) in Clinical Psychology there as well. Dr. Torres completed her Pediatric Psychology Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin/Children’s Wisconsin In Milwaukee, and her Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude in their Honors College) in Psychology at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.

Dr. Torres has been very active in research, has published peer-reviewed journal articles, and has been an ad hoc reviewer for four journals as well. She is a member of the Midwestern Psychological Association, the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, and the Society of Pediatric Psychology
