Gaby Vega is the program coordinator for the Center for Pediatric Traumatic Stress (CPTS). Gaby’s work focuses on increasing awareness and recognition of medical traumatic stress by healthcare providers, developing screening and brief interventions for children and families who have experienced traumatic stress due to pediatric illness and injury, providing Trauma Informed Care (TIC) training to healthcare professionals, and developing resources about coping with traumatic stress in both English and Spanish.
