Dr. Erika Chiappini is an Assistant Professor and licensed psychologist at Johns Hopkins University in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She serves as the Director of Training for the Pediatric Medical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. Dr. Chiappini specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and teens with anxiety disorders and chronic and acute medical conditions, including gastrointestinal disorders. She provides cognitive-behavioral and behavioral interventions to address anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. She is also a consultant for for a Maryland state-funded program to increase access to mental health care in primary care (BHIPP) by providing didactics on evidence-based interventions to social work interns.
