Lonna Gordon, MD, PharmD, FAAP, Dip ABOM, CCMS
Lonna P. Gordon, MD, PharmD, FAAP, FSAHM, DipABOM, CCMS received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Florida A&M University and her Doctor of Medicine from Morsani College of Medicine at University of South Florida. She completed her pediatrics residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and her fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital Adolescent Health Center. Dr Gordon joined Nemours Children’s Health, Florida in 2018 and is currently the Chief of Adolescent Medicine and the Director of Healthy Outcomes Opportunities and Belonging Graduate Medical Education. Her faculty appointment is at University of Central Florida College of Medicine at the rank of Associate Professor. She is board certified in pediatrics, adolescent medicine, obesity medicine, and culinary medicine as well as a Certified Enneagram Coach. Her professional interests include positive youth development, risk reduction, reproductive justice, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. She additionally enjoys educating learners of all levels on best practices to increase health opportunities and health outcomes in youth, improving authentic and connected conversations with teens and young adults and improving emotional regulation and team dynamics in high stress and high impact work environments.
