Nomita Patel has worked at Nemours over the last 36 years in various nursing roles. She worked as an inpatient rehabilitation nurse for 25 years and then transitioned to ambulatory nursing. Her ambulatory nursing experience has included working in primary care as a triage nurse, lead nurse, and currently as RN Care Coordinator at Nemours Children's Health. She is regarded as a mentor for others in ambulatory practice and care coordination and enjoys engaging with patients and families to provide any type of support that may be needed. Through collaboration with her team, Nomita has developed a quality and process improvement poster presentation related to their role.
