Dr. Duncan attended medical school at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, Alabama and completed residency in pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She recently completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Dr. Duncan also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama, which was obtained prior to medical school. During fellowship, she was active in research activities with a focus on healthcare disparities and asthma outcomes as they relate to the PICU. Dr. Duncan has served as an academic leader, mentor, and lecturer, representing her fellowship program as a member of the Resident and Fellow Council, delivering multiple lectures as part of the resident teaching curriculum, and serving as a simulation facilitator. In her spare time, Dr. Duncan enjoys being active with running, Pilates, traveling, and spending time with her dog, family, and friends.
