NCHFL 2025 Ambulatory Emergencies Simulation | Lake Mary Specialty Care Clinic

This simulation will teach the healthcare team to be aware of initial crisis management steps and emergency equipment location/utility. Learners will demonstrate initial pediatric emergency response steps (assessment, emergency activation, priority critical actions).

Physicians, Nurses, Physician Associates, Medical Assistants, Radiology Technicians, Respiratory Therapy

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate initial pediatric emergency response steps.
  2. Locate available resources for pediatric emergencies in their setting.
  3. Demonstrate effective teamwork skills (i.e. closed-loop communication, shared mental model, SBAR)
