Peggy Carter
Peggy Carter joined Nemours Children’s Health in March of 2019 and serves as the Community Engagement Program Manager for Central Florida. Peggy manages several nonprofit partnerships, creates and coordinates volunteer opportunities for associates throughout the year, manages software and programs for the Community Engagement team in Florida including the Nemours webinar programming and education, among many other projects and initiatives for children’s population health equity. She also oversees chamber partnerships within Central Florida.
She brings over 10 years of experience including event management and logistics, nonprofit management, production management and community engagement within the Central Florida community. She joined Nemours Children’s after serving 4 years at Runway to Hope, a pediatric cancer nonprofit, as the Director of Operations and Family Assistance Program where she managed the day-to-day operations of the nonprofit and created and maintained their Family Assistance programming and initiatives. During her time at Runway to Hope, she co-managed their largest fundraising event raising over 1 million dollars annually with over 2,300 guests.
Peggy completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida. She currently volunteers her time at many nonprofits including Second Harvest, Give Kids the World Village, and Runway to Hope to continue serving children and families.
