I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida - the middle of three children brought up by a foreign medical graduate physician father and a pharmacist mother. I attended the University of Florida where I graduated Cum Laude with Phi Beta Kappa distinction, earning a degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. I took two gap years before medical school, during which I studied neurocognitive aging. During my preclinical years at UCFCOM, I served as M1 Class Council VP, Research Chair for KNIGHTS Clinic, Secretary for the Student Interest Group in Neurology, and as an acting member of Peer Support Group and Knights Ambassadors. I am currently undecided as to my medical specialty but considering psychiatry, neurology, diagnostic radiology, and physical medicine/rehabilitation.
