Dr. Kari Lien is an Assistant Professor in the School of Communication Science & Disorders at Florida State University. Her research, clinical work, and teaching focus on speech sound production in children with cleft palate and craniofacial conditions. She previously completed postdoctoral training at the University of Utah with the Cleft Outcomes Research Network, and she earned her PhD from Arizona State University. She was previously employed as a speech-language pathologist on the cleft palate team in Phoenix, Arizona.
