I am a medical student at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine with academic interests spanning translational medicine, surgical outcomes research, cleft lip and palate research, and medical education. I earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Florida, where I developed an early interest in research, community health, and public health advocacy. I have co-authored peer-reviewed publications in ophthalmology, oncology, infectious diseases, and pathology, and have presented my work at national and regional conferences. My research has included large-scale database analyses, molecular and genomic investigations, and interdisciplinary education initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and expanding clinical knowledge. In addition to research, I am actively involved in mentorship, community health initiatives, and student leadership, with a commitment to advancing equitable patient care and academic collaboration.
