Jackie is a certified speech-language pathologist on the Craniofacial Team at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL.  Her past experiences include a clinical rotation at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in the cleft lip/palate clinic and completion of a clinical fellowship at the UW Health American Family Children’s Hospital in the voice, swallow, and craniofacial clinics. She earned her master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University. Jackie’s research interests include multilingual resonance assessment and speech development in Spanish-speaking children with velopharyngeal dysfunction.
