Board-Certified Orthodontist & Dual-Trained Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Christopher Henry is the heart behind Henry Advanced Orthodontics, where every smile tells a story. A board-certified orthodontist and dual-trained pediatric dentist, Dr. Henry combines advanced expertise with a down-to-earth, family-centered approach that makes every visit feel comfortable, fun, and personal.

His journey into orthodontics began with his own experience — growing up, Dr. Henry struggled with his smile, and the confidence he gained after treatment inspired him to help others feel that same transformation. After earning his degree in Chemistry from Mississippi College, he went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, completed his Pediatric Dentistry residency at the University of Kentucky, and later earned his Master’s in Dentistry and Orthodontic certification from Saint Louis University.

Before moving to Florida, Dr. Henry practiced in Alaska for more than a decade, where he served families across a wide range of communities. In 2016, he and his family settled in St. Johns County to be closer to home and sunshine — and he soon began volunteering with the cleft lip and palate craniofacial team in Jacksonville, an experience he calls one of the most meaningful parts of his career

His Philosophy of Care

Dr. Henry believes orthodontics should be about so much more than straight teeth. For him, it’s about confidence, connection, and care that lasts long after treatment is done. He often says that what sets his practice apart isn’t having all the answers — it’s the willingness to keep asking questions, to keep learning, and to make sure every patient feels seen and supported every step of the way

At Henry Advanced Orthodontics, patients of all ages are welcome — from early checkups around age seven to complex adult cases. Whether you’re looking for traditional braces or clear aligners, Dr. Henry and his team focus on creating what he calls TRDMK Smiles — smiles that are healthy, confident, and as one-of-a-kind as the people who wear them.

Giving back is at the heart of Dr. Henry’s practice. He and his team love supporting local schools, events, and organizations — especially those that matter most to their patients and families. Whether it’s volunteering, sponsoring community activities, or simply showing up to cheer on a patient, Dr. Henry believes in being part of the community beyond the walls of the office
