Sonia Solomon
Sonia Solomon, DO is a Pediatric Nephrologist at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of California, San Francisco – Fresno, followed by fellowship training in Pediatric Nephrology at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Before joining Nemours, Dr. Solomon served as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College and as a Pediatric Nephrologist at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, where she also held the role of Assistant Program Director of the Pediatric Residency Program.
Dr. Solomon’s scholarly work focuses on acute kidney injury, pediatric kidney transplantation, health disparities in pediatric nephrology, and graduate medical education. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, presented nationally and internationally, and contributed to multicenter collaborative studies such as the WE-ROCK consortium. She is an active member of the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology and the American Society of Transplantation, where she has served on multiple national committees.
Her clinical interests include acute kidney injury, pediatric kidney transplantation, and addressing disparities in medication access and care delivery.
