Jessica Nash, MD, IBCLC, FAAP

Dr. Jessica Nash is a board-certified pediatrician and community pediatric physician at the Children Health Center at Anacostia in Washington, DC. She also serves as the breastfeeding coordinator for the District of Columbia chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (DC AAP). In addition, Dr. Nash is a board member of the DC Breastfeeding Coalition, where she is actively involved in conducting a needs assessment for the District of Columbia, promoting breastfeeding-friendly workplaces, and driving quality improvement initiatives for pediatric providers at Children's National.
Dr. Nash is an Clinical Assistant Professor at George Washington University School of Medicine and the Associate Medical Director at her pediatric clinic.
She completed her pediatric training at Children’s National Hospital, in the community health track. Dr. Nash earned her Doctor of Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine in 2007 and her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2003.
Passionate about addressing health disparities, Dr. Nash aims to ensure that pediatric issues remain at the forefront of healthcare agendas. She continues to serve as a resource and advocate in the fight against illnesses related to health inequities, especially as it relates to breastfeeding.
Dr. Nash enjoys traveling with her husband and cherishes creating memorable experiences for their adventurous 8-year-old and clever 4-year-old boys.
