Matthew Hooper, MD is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Nemours Children’s Pensacola.
Dr. Hooper earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of
Medicine. He performed his residency at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, where
he served as the administrative chief resident. His fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery was
completed at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Hooper has contributed to multiple research articles and has presented on a variety of
orthopedic topics at meetings nationwide. He is a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Hooper enjoys golfing and running and remains a fan of
the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues
