Michelle Grenier, MD, FAAP, FACC

I am a board-certified pediatric cardiologist with over three decades caring for infants, children, and young adults with complex congenital and acquired heart conditions. Trained at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Children's National Medical Center, I have held academic appointments (Professor of Pediatric Cardiology) at such institutions as the University of Colorado, University of New Mexico, Texas Children's and Cincinnati Children's Hospitals. My clinical expertise spans fetal, transthoracic, and transesophageal echocardiography, cardiomyopathies, Kawasaki Disease, sports cardiology and the prevention of sudden cardiac death. I have been a leader in outreach and rural cardiology, having developed and delivered services to underserved populations in New Mexico, California's Central Valley, rural Kentucky, and long the Texas-Mexico border.
I have been an invited speaker and panelist at National and International meetings- including the American College of Cardiology and International Kawasaki Disease Symposium-published in peer-review journals and medical textbooks. My publications address topics such as restrictive cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, cardiac imaging, HIV-associated cardiomyopathy, and cardiotoxicity in pediatric cancer survivors.
In my off-time, I like to practice cartwheels, handstands and round-offs. I am hoping to become proficient in free running and Ninja strength.
