Dr. Mensah-Bonsu graduated summa cum laude from Washington State University with a degree in Psychology, followed by the University of Washington School of Medicine. She went onto complete her pediatric training at the University of Chicago and was a hospitalist for 7 years before returning to fellowship in Development and Behavior at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. She is an Assistant Professor and Associate Program Director in the Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship, and is passionate about teaching and supporting parents in their journey to build strong relationships and ensure children meet their developmental maximum. She also owns and operates a mobile clinic (MDinanRV.com). Outside of medicine, she and her husband have 3 incredible children and enjoy gardening, adventuring, cooking, and eating!
