Shiva Kalidindi, MD MS FAAP FACEP CPE
Dr. Kalidindi is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM). He is the Associate Chief of Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Chair of Education Committee, and Medical Director of the Center for Interprofessional Learning & Simulation at Nemours. Dr. Kalidindi serves on the Board of Directors for Florida College of Emergency Physicians. He has presented at international conferences and serves as planning chair of national and regional conferences.
Dr. Kalidindi has a Master’s in Medical Education Leadership and is a Certified Physician Executive. He is a dual board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada. He also has a Master’s in Public Health, Diploma in Global Health, and is a Certified Simulation Educator.
Dr. Kalidindi has received several “Teacher of the Year” awards at the Western University and the University of Central Florida. His faculty development endeavors include directing workshops on “Teach like Socrates” at the Pediatric Academic Societies Conference, directing the Master Educator Academy at Nemours, and the Clinical Teaching Certificate Program at the UCF COM. He has been recognized as the Physician with the highest patient satisfaction scores and as one of Orlando’s Finest Doctors. Dr. Kalidindi received the UCF Clinical Excellence Award and Nemours Physician Service Excellence Award.
