Dr. Roopali Bapat is a neonatologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University Medical Center. She serves as the Medical Director of Quality and Safety for the Neonatal Network and as the Medical Co-Director of the Clinical Pathways Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Bapat is trained in Quality Improvement Essentials (QIE) and Advanced Quality Improvement Methods (AIM), and holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Quality and Safety. She has also completed leadership training through the Medical Leadership Program and the Journey to Leadership Excellence Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Bapat has led several Quality Improvement (QI) workshops and provided lectures across the country. She is an active QI leader in multiple national platforms and spearheads QI projects in state and national collaboratives, including the Neonatal Justice Collaborative, Ohio Perinatal Quality Collaborative (OPQC) and the Children’s Hospital National Consortium (CHNC).
