Dr. Margaret Lafferty is an Attending Neonatologist at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at 
Thomas Jefferson University. 

She graduated from Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, and completed her Pediatric residency and Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship at Jefferson/Nemours Children's Health. She is the Associate Clinical Director of the Intensive Care Nursery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, as well as the Director of Education for the Pediatric Residents, Medical Students and PA Students in the Jefferson ICN. She has made several contributions to prominent publications in her field, addressing topics such as neonatal abstinence syndrome, growth failure in infants, infants born to mothers with chorioamnionitis and the potential impact of Mozart's music on the development of premature infants.
