Dr. Narvey began his training in Pediatrics at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg and then completed a neonatal perinatal medicine fellowship the University of Manitoba and in Edmonton, Alberta. Aside from clinical neonatology he has served as a fellowship Program Director, Medical Director for a level II unit and 14 years as the Section Head of Neonatology in Winnipeg which he held until Jan 2025. He continues to be the Medical Director of the Child Health Transport Team..In 2015 he became a member of the Canadian Pediatric Society’s Fetus and Newborn Committee and in2019 took over as Chair of the same until June of 2024. In May of 2025 he joined the CPS as its Vice President.
