Shannon Nees, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist serving as director of fetal cardiology at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University. She specializes in advanced non-invasive cardiac imaging and cardiovascular genetics, bringing a unique perspective to the diagnosis and management of congenital heart disease from before birth through adulthood. She earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her pediatric residency and cardiology fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. She continued her training with a fellowship in advanced non-invasive cardiac imaging at Columbia University Medical Center in New York.
