Amelia Hayes is Certified Child Life Specialist who has over 20 years of experience supporting hospitalized children and families working on inpatient units, radiology/sedation teams and the emergency department.  For the past 9 years Amelia has been the Child Life Specialist on the Partners in Advanced Care Team at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware.  In this work Amelia leads the Love Always Bereavement team supporting Nemours bereaved families which includes conducting home visits, planning remembrance ceremonies, leading support groups, spearheading our bereaved parent advisory committee as well as facilitating family's connection to community resources.  Additionally, Amelia is the Director of Camp Molly, which is a bereavement camp for siblings who have experienced the death of a sibling.  Finally, Amelia recently received a Community Funding Grant through Nemours and is exploring ways to bring grief education into the school system.
