Dr. Sanchez is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Attending Physician at Nemours Children's Hospital in Delaware. She completed her pediatrics residency at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston and her pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at the University of Texas at Austin, Dell Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Sanchez is passionate about medical education, simulation, pain management, and patient safety and has received multiple awards for excellence in teaching. She is co-director of the medical student pediatric emergency medicine clerkship at Sidney Kimmel Medical College. Her current research interests include: improving patient resuscitation outcomes via use of mobile phone applications, implementing early feeding in patients with respiratory failure from bronchiolitis, and streamlining non-accidental trauma identification and evaluation in the emergency department.
