Objectives
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss how to refer patients to Nemours for autism evaluations.
  • Guide families in what to do while they await an autism evaluation from a specialist.
  • Describe at least two ways that ABA can support medical providers.
  • Identify one method for measuring stress in autistic patients and how ABA procedures can help ameliorate medically-related stress.

Practice Change
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Collaborate with ABA providers to provide less stressful medical visits and help inform treatment recommendations.
