This session enhances Emergency Department nursing competence by strengthening bedside practice, trauma/treatment room performance, and clinical decision-making. Emphasis is placed on applying evidence-based knowledge to support purposeful, patient-centered nursing care.

The focus of this session will be on recognizing and responding appropriately to cardiac related emergencies. The learners who attend this session will receive education on cardiac rhythms and the interventions they require. Learners will have an opportunity to apply their knowledge through participation in a simulated exercise relevant to the session's designated topic.
