Series Summary:
Guided discussions appraising articles is an opportunity to connect with current literature that has a potential to impact the care that patients receive. Join this series to keep up to date with the articles related to pediatric, inpatient rehabilitation. Literature topics are selected on the potential of informing clinical practice, processes or interprofessional team approaches on this specific unit. Meetings are hosted quarterly, and the relevant literature link can be found in each session.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Review current evidence-based topics in the literature that may impact the pediatric inpatient rehabilitation patient.
- Discuss the influence of the evidence on nursing practice at NCHFL.
- Identify potential practice changes that may result from the literature review.
Target Audience:
This series is recommended for those providing care to children on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in Orlando. All disciplines are invited; RNs, PT, OT, Speech, LCSW, and others who are interested in discussing the latest peer reviewed literature and its relevance to practice at NCHFL.
