This course provides an in-depth understanding of hypovolemia in pediatric trauma cases. We will discuss hypovolemia with case studies for better understanding of hypovolemic shock in trauma. Join your ED colleagues in an evidenced based, educational session that addresses hypovolemic shock in pediatric trauma patients that present in the ED.
Series Summary:
Managing Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) for critically ill children requires high quality, safe, and effective care to manage hemodynamic instability with renal failure. This regularly scheduled series provides learners with a 2.5-hour hands-on practice session with the latest equipment for CRRT. The session will include dedicated time to prime the system, troubleshoot a variety of warning alarms, and practice blood return processes relevant to Registered Nurses caring for children with renal replacement therapy.
